The Jones Stratos Snowboard is an all-mountain board built to thrive in any condition and any terrain. Designed with Directional Rocker, this is a hybrid rocker/camber flex pattern defined by more tip rocker than tail rocker and camber between the bindings. The rockered tip floats the board’s nose and improves maneuverability while the camber underfoot provides edge hold and response. A slightly rockered tail maintains the power and stability of a traditional board but helps keep the tail catch-free for initiating turns and landing switch. With a flex pattern of 7 out 10, you get stout flex but not over the top stiff, which provides what Jones calls Forever Flex, that uses specialized machinery that mimics aggressive riding to help stabilize the profile of the boards to provide the same consistent flex that lasts over the board's lifetime. An FCS Ultra core is Jones lightest core, which is made from a Paulownia wood with specially positioned Poplar stringers that add power to your turns and durability to the life of the board. Unique Traction Tech 3.0 edges feature three bumps per edge (front binding, board center, back binding). The middle bump is slightly bigger than the outside bumps for better grip. The Jones Stratos Snowboard is equally at home shredding powder as it is hitting the park or arcing down a rock lined couloir.
